I started to be of the opinion that though I'm fairly liberal, and not a big fan of the war, Clinton or Obama (excuse my current political ignorance as to what's going on. Busy.) were probably in line with my ideal choices for what was available but McCain will win the election. I think that even aside from presidential skill (right?), though an African American or female would do a great deal in unifying and betting down many of this country's widespread prejudices it's too much to throw at this population too fast. It will happen in time, but it will fail a few times before acceptance.

That said, aside from the war stance (and again my overall ingorance) I do feel McCain is a lesser of most conservative evils.

It is refreshing and astonishing to see the universe, or karma bend to my will in a literal 10-15 amazing events lining up on a day filled with off the wall activities in which all were superbly positive, uplifting experiences.

Also, thanks for being a part. Christine, Sean, Jessica, and Renee.

And small things like getting to see a game play video of Street Fighter IV (I'm hardly a game,r but SF had a huge part in my childhood. I follow it and get very excited at new releases. And that's actually a large understatement, but the point is made.) Go life! Thanks for the recharge.

And also an omen. I'm not a heavy smoker, but Dave's Lights (Read: the only cigarette I will smoke/prefer) were just discontinued. Only one thing to do I suppose. That is, after I work off the 2 cartons I cleaned out of all the Capitol Hill smoke shops and convenience stores. </fiend> They taste amazing.

YOU ARE NOW ENTERING A NO PREACHING ZONE. Only positivity allowed.

The Mountain Goats (unique folk sound) covering Neutral Milk Hotel's "Two Headed Boy" (by a very vocally unique artist, released in 1998). The high notes are intense, and capture a raw essence of what the original conveyed with its sound. It's a bit nicer than an average dorm room. It's a bit drafty, and the bathroom is freezing, but the common room is well equipped and warm. Coin operated heat and showers as I've mentioned are used, but since then I've become the master of the 8 minute shower (you can stop and restart the water when lathering up and all). Dan didn't have to master it at all apparently. He comes back bragging that he is usually done with 4 minutes to spare. psh.
